1) دیوان قانون اساسی جمهوری آفریقای جنوبی در حکمی، رای دیوان عالی این کشور در تایید سیاست های آموزشی یکی از دانشگاه ها در مقدم داشتن آموزش زبان انگلیسی بر آفریقایی را مطابق قانون اساسی اعلام کرد.
The Constitutional Court of South Africa held that a university policy which gives preference to English over Afrikaans is constitutional.
2) پس از آنکه در جریان یک حادثه، کودک خردسالی که دچار آسیب های شدید جانی ناشی از شوک الکتریکی تماس با درب ساختمان ترانسفورماتور ها شد و در پرونده بدوی شکایت سال 2015 والدین وی رد شد، دیوان قانون اساسی جمهوری ترکیه در رایی علاوه بر تایید نقض حق زندگی این کودک و جبران خسارت به وی، دستور داده است تا مقررات و دستورالمل های قانونی در این مورد نیز اصلاح گردد تا از وقوع حوادث مشابه جلوگیری گردد.
The Constitutional Court has ruled that a three-year-old's right to life was violated when he received an electric shock after touching the door of a transformer building.
S.T., who is eight now, was seriously wounded because of the shock. His family applied to a court for violation of their child's right to life on September 2, 2015. The Chief Public Prosecutor of Kızıltepe launched an investigation into the incident. A scene investigation team performed examinations on the same day.
The interim report said that the injury endangered the child's life and could not be relieved by simple medical intervention. The prosecutor's office, however, made a decision for non-prosecution and rejected an objection to this decision.
The child's family applied to the top court on September 2, 2019, claiming that the child's right to life was violated and the investigation into the incident was not carried out effectively.
"Since electricity generation and distribution is within the scope of hazardous activity, all organizations and technical devices serving this purpose have an obligation to place technical devices safely for the protection of people's lives and body integrity," the court said in its assessment.
3) در رایی دیگر همچنین در حمابت از حق آزادی بیان، احکام حبس و مجازات نماینده سابق مجلس و عضو حزب دمکراتیک خلق را ناقض حق آزادی بیان اعلام کرد. این نماینده پیشتر از سوی دادگاهی به 3 سال و شش ماه حبس به جرم تبلیغ به نفع یک سازمان تروریستی در سخنرانی نوروزی سال 2013 شده بود.
The Constitutional Court has pronounced its justified ruling on Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP) former Ankara MP Sırrı Süreyya Önder.
Announcing its ruling yesterday (October 3), the Court concluded that the right to freedom of expression of Önder has been violated as he was sentenced to 3 years, 6 months in prison for allegedly "propagandizing for a terrorist organization" with his Newroz speech in 2013.
